Planning Consultancy

On graduation with an MSc in Urban Planning and Real Estate in 2011, Debra Storr first combined working as a councillor with working for a renewable energy consultancy.  She is now establishing her own consultancy business and is delighted that the same renewable energy business has retained her services as their planning specialist.
She has also worked with other clients offeriing both planning advice on projects and also helping formaulate representations to planning consulotations by local authorities.
As a councillor, Debra appeared at three local planning inquiries, defending the Council's decision to refuse applications against officer's advice.  In each case, the Reporter dismissed the appeal.  She also presented the planning case supporting the original council decision to refuse the Trump/Menie application at the public local inquiry.
She was also heavily incolved in formulating and directing planning policy, being a active member of the relevant committees and working groups.
As a 'gamekeeper turned proacher' Debra has an almost unquely rounded view of planning.
